2016 winners from Cameroon

My CN is AF54***.Almost uncertain to get the chance to be reached.i also did a mistake on my name, my country of chargeability. I mistakely choose the AF country where I reside now instead of my country of origin nd citizenship which is Cameroon. Don't know if these mistakes could disqualify me in case they reach (by God's grace) my CN. Could someone say something about this?

The error in country of chargeability, as long as they are both in AF region, shouldn't disqualify you. The name error may,depending what the error is and where you interview. It's hard to tell, some get disqualified, some don't.

The mistake on the name is that instead of writing my first name in full, there is only the first letter. While filling the DS260, i corrected it, but still on the acknowledge receipt from the Kcc, that name was still not written in full. What do you think about ?

I don't think anyone here can tell you for certain if your CN will become current or not, however going by the cut-off reached last year, we can say it's rather on the risky side.

All correspondence from KCC will still bear your name exactly as you wrote it on your eDV registration regardless of whatever correction that's subsequently made on the DS-260 form. If your CN becomes current you will face the CO and take it from there on.

Just wanted to ask if anyone has already had an interview yet? Hopefull hubby's cn2016 af475*** could become current for august.

There's a search button available for finding past or previous posts you know? And if using the search button is a problem, then maybe you should simply scroll through the forum and look for past Threads dedicated to selectees from Cameroon.
