is it atleast possible to get a interim EAD after 90 days???
My lawyer says....its upto the discreation of the officer at the local USCIS ??

Any body has any such expierences??

On the same day(9/7) my I-140 as well got approved. Lets stay in touch as my 140/EAD/485 were applied in March. Pls see my signature below

CSC has released timing for initiation of name check. They said that I 140 will not be approved unless name check is approved(atleast, thats what my understanding was); does that mean that my name check has been completed?

EAD Approved

Got an email at 11:00pm which said that my EAD had been approved and card would be mailed to me as soon as it's ready. :)

EB2 - Nov'99.

This is very bad.

But who is waiting until now with 98 and 99 PD's???

My guess USICS is trying to stop the incoming flow of 140/485 cases so that they can work on aprpoving pending cases of 140/485.

I have applied based on reference number ,i got an rfe asking me to send the receipt numbers of the original filed 140 which was denied .I just submitted that and waiting for resposne

Cut-off Dates - DRAMA

I totally agree with you. Even if we take into consideration of all the recent approvals from Backlog Centers, I don't think there will be too many between 1998 and 2000. A fair cut-off date would have been somewhere in 2001.

But here is my guess as to why DOS set the cut-off dates back to 1998/99. As we all know they are already taking measures to get rid of LC Substitution and it is going to take a while (atleast not until Jan 2006) before it becomes a law. Meanwhile by setting the cut-off dates as far back to 1998/99, they are indirectly eliminating the LC substitution now itself because they know very well that there will not be too many LCs with a PD before that.

So, I hope, in the coming months, we can see these cut-off dates move very fast atleast until it becomes April 2001. After that it will move relatively slow. Just my guess.
