Congrats! labsub and surya369. Looks like VSC approving I-140 very fast phase. This is really good news for us.

NO RFEs at all. All I did was wait. BTW, I did receive email also today.
NOW, Just waiting for UNTHINKABLE ie, Oct 1st and 485 approval. Then, I will be gone to Venice,Italy to be a merchant rather than being a programmer. :) Just a joke :) Hope for best!

Just wanted to find out,if you happened to send any additional documents to VSC ,without any RFE...???
Because iam waiting for my EAD too and i sendmy borth affidavits to VSC without any RFE and iam guessing that is delaying it....

Labor Wait, I and my spouse received an RFE for the AP too. It was regarding clearer copies of the photo and biographical pages of the passport. We took color copies of the biographical pages and are also sending color copies of the drivers lisence. We sent the documents to the lawyer today so hopefully the AP should be approve in 3,4 weeks.

I have 20 years exp doesnot mean I qualify, it is the employer to say he needs 5 yrs

My wife had the same RFE for EAD and AP. She got approved fairly quickly.

Myself send the copies of passport to vsc The status changed to RFE received on July 26 th.. no approval yet, it may tale another two weeks. Hope for the best. Good luck A_P.

Hi All,

Just an update.
Recieved the EAD card on 08/25/2005 - two weeks after EAD was approved.
My FP was done on 08/18/05 . There was a LUD on 18th and one on the 19th. No change in the message after FP.

Everyone's application is getting approved, my applications for I-140/485 is still unchanged. Anyone in my situation? any thought?

My I 140 status ?

Sub Labor PD Nov 2000
140/485 : ND-6/10/2004 from Texas
Transferred to Philadlphia local office 7/26/2004
FP for myself and wife in Oct 2004.
Last LUD on 140 and 485: 12/06/2004
Checked with the officer in March in Philli and he mentioned that he transferred the 140 case to Vermont in March. Went to Philli office last month, they could find my 485 but they could not locate my 140. Could it be that its transferred to Vermont ?
My employer made an enquiry earlier this month and he got the same old response saying that the case was transferred to Philadelphia on 7/26/2004.

Its been over 14 months I have been waiting for my 140. Could someone please suggest if I have any other options to find out about my 140 case.

I got an other lud (Continuously for 3 days) on my 485 today with the same message........fp received and your processing is resumed....but no status on my EAD and 140....Waiting patiently….

Consecutive LUD changes

My case is also similar. Got 485 LUDs for 3 consecutive dates. See details below.
Guys any idea what's going on with these LUDs?

I really dont understand how you guys are getting approval applied June/July, while USCIS is still processing February cases for I-140.
 
I am in the same boat..anxiously waiting for the approvals

My app filed in April 22nd and I have not received the approval from VSC so far for my I140...Hopefully we will get our approvals by next week :)

Traveling abroad

I have applied for I140/EAD/I485 but not AP. I am on valid H1-B visa (stamped until March 06 on my passport). Can I travel outside the country on my H1-B visa or do I still need to apply for AP?

Yes. You can. No need to apply AP. If you want you can apply in early next year. Just you need valid VISA on your passport to re-enter USA. thats all.
 
Received my EAD card and AP

I got my EAD Card directly by mail yday 08/25/05 and AP approval from my attorney today (08/26).

My EAD card says NO FINGERPRINT AVAILABLE in a small square box. But I completed my FP on 07/22/05 itself. Is this normal?
