No update since 140/485 concurrent filing in April, 2005 ?????

Has anybody had a similar experience ??

I had filed for 140/485 concurrently on 4/27/05 and the receipt date is 5/6/2005. I have NOT got any LUD/update on my applications till date and have not received a fingerprinting notice.

Will appreciate if somebody can explain this situtation or has similar experiences that he can share !!!!

Sorry Buddy For giving this Reply so late I was away.
First of all it was from the same employer ,it was a subs labour ,we got an RFE and the lawyer did not answer that well and then we filed for an appeal when 140 was denied even that was rejected and went to AAO office.
In my case I got queries for 140 ,I dont think you need to worry about the time it takes to get an answer ,since strange are the ways of VSC.

Address Change

Can some one kindly explain me the procedure for address Change while I-140 and I-485 is still pending.
Is the form ar-11.pdf (Alien' Change of Address Form) good enough or something else needs to be done.

You also need to call the USCIS 800# to change address for the pending case. I did twice. Your lawyer or employee needs to call for I-140 address change

I heard some companies applications are put on hold.....may be because of the bad reputation of them.
 
how to find if a name check is initiated/cleared?

Is there a way of checking if the name check has been initiated/finished for an I-485 application? I don't think the on-line status will update that, is it true?

No, it is a big multinational company in the Fortune 100 list. I don't think it is related to the company. Could there be any other reason ???

Sometimes VSC is way tough to understand.....May be one of those things that tests your patience.
But did you check if your checks got encashed and did you talk to your lawyer....May be he can check with VSC ....
But atleast you have the Receipt notices....means they do have your papers ....but i dont see any other issues at this point....I understand the pain behind it brother.....i wish you receive something from them soon.

LUD changed again for both. 140 remains same. I am hoping for MAGIC eventhough I am on EB-3. No kidding. If Russian Submarine can survive, then EB-3 too :)

Any input would be appreciated on LUD changed.

Hi Manaka,
How come there was a LUD,just 4 days after your ND .....What did it say ???
also did you receive any LUD on the EAD when it was approved.??
My ND is 07/20 and i havent received any LUD's yet ....iam waiting for my EAD and no news about it.....

I'd say that you should have another LUD in the next couple of days. Let's see if your case follows the pattern!

I have two LUD's on 485 ( me ,spouse and son) in two days, after my 140 approved last week. Could you please tell me where I am heading . Am I going to get an RFE .

FP received LUD

Is any body has same position as mine?? My FP done on May 05 and then after there are 2 LUDs but did not receive FP received message.

Hi,
I'd say that your name check was initiated. If you'll have, in the next few days a new LUD that could be name check received by USCIS. After that, in around 1-2 months you'll get RFE or approval. EB2 is current .

Yes.. I also did on the same day still status message shows as "Received ".. I had 4 LUD changes after my FP. :confused: :confused: :confused:
 
You seems to have some logic about LUD's .Can you please explain

My 140 Notice date is 7/14,I just saw my LUD updated on 140 as 08/08.
Is there any reason , should i expected anything .
