2. How do I go about taking the InfoPass appointment and whether that will help the case at all?

http://infopass.uscis.gov/ is the link to make an infopass appt. It is normally useless, you get better response from the senator's office

Since my I-140 stuck for no reason for past 2 and half years , I field another Labor and I-140 also, but with Gods grace this I-140 cleared and My I-485 also….
Current Status: Card Mailed
On October 16, 2007, we mailed the new card directly to the address we have on file. You should receive your new card within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service.
