Do you know if your name checks are done ? The dates really mean nothing, it all is pure luck. I have seen approvals for folks who apllied a year later than me.I am also just waiting so bad on this, because there are many things being tied up for me because on this. I am actually thinking of going for a trip to India, what will happen if the approval comes when I am in India, any idea ?

As per the info pass info, my NC and FP is cleared and upto date.

As of I know you need to have valid AP to return back US if your GC get approved while u r out side of US.

It's gr8 that your nc is clear. You will get an approval anytime now.

There was a long period for which our cases were not touched. While cases from 2006 are being processed. I dunno why that happenned.

Since we are seeing approvals in our time frame, atleast there are more chances that our cases are being processed.

The new bulletin for processing dates states that TSC has moved 1 month back to aug 2006.

My Info pass appt did not say anthing except that my case is awaiting security clearance.

It has been almost a week that we sent RFE response and so far no update on my case about whether they recieved the response or not. Can you please let me know how much time will they take generally before they update the case details....

Finally I got my Green Card

Hi Guys,

After a long wait of almost 3 years I finally got the much coveted US Green Card today :)

I feel relieved and glad.

Firstly I must thank RAJIV KHANNA for doing an immense service to all the GC aspirants by hosting this forum. This forum has been of great help to me. I got all the information I needed from this forum at different points of time.

I would also like to thank members of this forum , especially GCVaruma , Laborbadhi & A001 who had responded to some of my queries in the past.

I wish all those who are waiting for their GC...ALL THE BEST !!! I am sure you all will get it soon. Just imagine 60,000 people ( mostly Indians ) are out of the queue ! When the visa numbers are again available in Oct-07 , the dates would have advanced considerably. In my opinion the dates for EB2 would advance uptill Jun-05 ( I have seen a case of Aug-05 getting approved ).

A question about making an InfoPass appointment: which one should I choose?

I am planning to make an InfoPass appointment for my pending I-485 application. On the InfoPass web page, I was asked to pick one from the following

1) Order from Immigration Court
2) Case Processing Appointment
3) EAD inquiry appointment
4) Case Services follow-up appointment. If it has been over 45 days since you contacted NCSC and have not received a response to your inquiry. You must bring the Service Request ID Number related to your inquiry to the appointment.

It looks like that none of these applies to my case. (I tend to choose 4) but it is not fully applicable to my case as I do not have a pending inquiry.)

What did you pick when you made your InfoPass appointments?

I received 2nd FP notice for both my self and my wife on 07/27, but no update on my RFE response online. In fact, in the RFE, they asked me to send a FP application and I included this and was sent to VSC on 07/10 and the FP notice is issued on 07/20 and I recievd on 07/27 and it is scheduled for 08/17.

Does this mean, they recieved RFE response and also I believe they do not not issue FP notice if they do not satify the RFE response.

I am wondering whether any of us recieved the FP notice after sending the RFE with no update online.

I just got the mail from USCIS that they received the response and case processing has resumed and I got the similar message on my I485 application as well.

My wife's name check is cleared ! So says a mail from my congress representative. Mine is still pending. My wife also got the new EAD (3rd).

It’s been crazy 3 weeks with so much of stuff going on for me and I am extremely sorry that I could post this information earlier. First good news is that we had a baby boy born 2 weeks back. He is fine. The next good news is that my GC has been approved and I got my cards on 30th of July.

The above is the reason why I was away for more than 3 weeks from the forums. Every time someone's GC gets approved, I tell them to party hard after they receive the GC. Long time back, I too was planning to do the same. But with too much things going on I have to wait for sometime before I party.

Getting the GC did not give me that much feeling at all (I thought I would be ecstatic). I think holding my son for the first time was the best feeling I had till date and nothing can beat it.

I have my good friends here and I thank all of you for the help given and wish you the best in your case.

Congratulations

Congratulations on having the little one and also on the GC. I bet , holding your son was a happier moment than getting the GC approval. After all the painful process I had to go through, I will just be releived when the GC arrives - but will not be so happy about it or anything as I lost that excitement already. I even lost the hope of getting it any soon because luck is always against me.

EAD renewal application pending at TSC for almost three months!

Hi all,

My I-485 was filed with VSC and then was transferred to TSC in the past March.

I filed an EAD renewal application with TSC on May 17th but so far no approval or LUD. Is this normal? Does anyone have the same experience?

What should I do to speed it up?

You'll get it soon. Mine got approved last friday, I applied almost same time.
