any one got LUDs after recent Biometric appointment ?

EB2 ( India ) - Visa Number cut-off date has been advanced to 01-APR-2004 :)

I am sure many on this forum would be happy.
 
Message change

I got a Biometrics appt notice last week - got that done.

Yesterday the message on my case status changed to:
On XXXXXXX [date] we mailed the document to the address we have on file. You should receive the new document within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service.

Does anybody know what this means?

Many recently transferred cases are in the same position (mine included). Nobody knows what this is about. Moreover, if you'll call and check the automated status on the USCIS phone line you'll hear "based on earlier approval of this case we mailed the document....". Check it and let us know

Yes - just checked the online message - and it says "on XXXXX we sent you the new document based on an earlier approval of your case....".

I am currently traveling and have not been checking my mails - has anyone received the document that they are talking about?

We have not recieved any update on the premium processing conversion and it has been more than three weeks and I see a LUD on 04/25/07, but no updates after and also my attorney did not receive the receipt number for the same...I was really hoping that this premium processing is going to generate approval on my case..but once again I back to square one and no status on my I140 case..

Please let me know if you have any other suggestions and also let me know if any of you faced similar situation with conversion of premium processing...

I think you should follow immigration-law dot com which is more frequently updated :D Anyway, it is great news indeed!
 
Spouse and myself filed for our 2nd EAD. Here are the details :

I also did go for my finger printing on 05/09/07. For my previous FP there was an LUD, but for my 2nd FP there was no LUD. Anyone else had this happen to them??

The lawyers filed it in VSC.

I thought that they were going to file it with TSC(from reading in the forums) since the case is pending in TSC. But then the lawyers decided to file it in VSC. I thought I was going to wait for a long time and also the scare that EAD have to filed 3 months before the expiry date. But then they took only around 1 month.

rrdrai.. What I heard from someone on the boards is that if your PD is current then you will have an LUD. But then looking at your case your Labor PD is May 2002 and so that theory goes out of the window. One possibility is that the cases got shifted from VSC to TSC. So there could be some miscommunication over there. All we can do with USCIS is just guess as no one knows.

By the way my FP was Code 1. For some reason I thought it was Code 3.

Your PD is May 02 and you filed your 485 on 04/15/05 - do you know as to what is the reason your case is being help up?

My Biometric also Code 1.
I called USCIS to find the status. During the conversation they asked me, Did you get a Biometric?, I said Yes I got one recently. Then she answerd, You have to give us 60 days from your date of Biometic to get open a status query.

Now I am waiting for that 60 days to complete.

In similar situation the rep opened inquiry right away, not that i believe in the effectiveness of it...

Same here...no LUD after I got my FP2 done. Is this something we should worry about.

HK_HR... I dont think there is anything we have to worry about right now. Also in the forums there are many who have not got any LUD after FP2.

The most we can do is to go for infopass and enquire about our case maybe we may have better luck there.
