I was told NSC.
 
I saw activity by VAC on 26,27,28,29 on my spouse and son's case which was pending due to RFE. RFE was received on 26. I have not seen any approval form VAC in last two weeks. I hope VAC will transfer our files to NSC backlog? My dates are current.

St. Albans, VT 05479-0001

is that the correct address VSC ?

Fedex tracking has something different:
Held at FedEx location for recipient pickup

WILLISTON, VT
Package available for pickup at: 921 MARSHALL AVE

Looks like your shipment is not delivered to VSC, but is on hold at a Fedex location. Please call 1800gofedex and enquire why it is not delivered. I am guessing that you did not fill the fedex airbill properly

To increase efficiency, USCIS periodically shifts work from one service center to another in order to balance workload with capacity. Due to unusually high workload, the Vermont Service Center (VSC) recently transferred nearly 5,000 Petitions for Nonimmigrant Workers (Form I-129) to the Texas Service Center (TSC) and approximately 22,000 Petitions for Alien Relatives (Form I-130) to the California Service Center.

USCIS has notified customers to not be alarmed if they receive notices from the Texas or California Service Center about a case they initially mailed to VSC. If you have any questions about your case, please route them to the service center from which you received their last notice. USCIS has incorporated this level of flexibility into their processing in order to ensure timely case processing.


Anybody has heard anything about transfering EAD or I-485?

Hi,
I have a plan to visit India and I will be using my AP. There two reason bothering me
1. I changed employer this year and send all the AC 21 documents to INS around March.
2. My AP expires on 6th October, but I return on September 30th.

Can someone let me know do I need to take any special caution ?. A friend of mine got a problem on point of entry because he had only a week left on his AP. Did anybody had same kind of experience ?. Any help is appreciated.

Wait for 485

Hello Gurus,

My finger printing was done on 06/03/2006. It has been over 2 months, but there has been no change in the status message for my 485 case, mentioning that USCIS has received the FP, as it used to happen before.

For all my friends I have noticed that the FP received message came up within about a month's time from the FP date.

Not sure what is going on with my case. Any ideas?

My case was initially filed with VSC. I do not have any information on where my case is at this moment. Any ideas on how to find that out?

I don't think change of message happens all the time, mine was done 14 months ago and still its on "Received Satus" .. I seen so many got approved without changing any status. But make sure that LUD is changing.

Bi Specialization

Can anyone shed some light into as to what USCIS is upto with respect to bispecialization, especially for the existing filed I 485 cases. MY RD for I 485 is 8/1/2005? do you think my case is being transferred to NSC? If yes, how & when will they notify me? Now, if my case is in NSC, in what order will they process my I 485 application. will they process based on my rd date or based on the transfer date?

Can anyone shed some light on this. I am totally confused, as it appears that I will be screwed once again by this entire messed up process.

AP for spouse

My wife's AP was filed in June with a RD of June 28, 2006. It is still not approved. The last LUD on her AP was July 19.

Could anyone throw some light on what's going on. The current processing date for AP in NSC is July 7th, 2006.

Is there a way to find out whats happening with her case?

i am not too sure as to what the heck is happening with our I 485 cases. I called USCIS today and was adivsed that VSC is not processing I 485s any more, so our processing is dependant on the regional processing center, which in my case is newark, Nj as I am based in NJ. Newark is processing cases from feb 2006, so the rep opened an inquiry into my case, which I am not too sure will lead into? I am so darn confused with what is happening with this bispecialization business.....

Keep me posted, as to what happens with your I 485 case!

My lawyer is still inquiring why VSC did not publish the 485 dates. Also, he is trying to see if our cases were moved.

This is an issue have raised on this forum since august 4. No one seems to have an answer including USICS. I have called them a couple of times since august 3 and also spoken to my lawyer, yet no answer yet, as to what is happening................
