2004 Consolidated Tracker ONLY (140/EAD/AP/FP/485)

Hi ASSUR,

You should send AR 11 when you change address and even you called VSC for address change. I guess these two are different, AR - 11 is for your H1B and calling VSC is for perminent residence application(I140,I485 Etc.,). So you should send AR 11 irrespectivce of what you do for your address change.

Thanks
Actually it was address correction, to put the APT#. So I did call and requested to add APT# on my 5-dependents applications. She did it same day, right away. Then I monitored the LUD for two days.
Here I mentioned in thread, that even a minimal change or correction is reflected by LUDs.

Address change

Hi Assur,

Thankyou for replying.

I sent AR-11 as well as I called the USCIS to notify my address change two days ago.

But I did not get any LUDs.

The lady at USCIS, took all my information and said that they will send a letter to my new address with in 30 days.

I called USCIS at 1-800-375-5283.

Is there a separate number to reach VSC and update my address?

Thank You.

National Customer Service Center at 800-375-5283
1, 2, 6, 1, EAC#, 1, 3, 4====> Customer Service Representative -OR-
1, 2, 6, 1, EAC#, 1, 3, 2, 1==> Customer Service Representative

did you applied for EAD yourself or used a lawyer.
I was planning to do it on my own, so I am wondering is it simple to do.
Also for AP ...

thx

It is very Easy through web

Hi Philava,

I don't think you need lawyer for this just do it through web before 90 days of your EAD eprire date so that you will get in time. And also you need to take FP appointment for EAD. I guess recently USCIS changed FP notice appointment procedure like they are going to send appointment schedule to us insted of we call for schedule so please check and review all documents two days before your apply. It is very simple and don't take 15 min to submit information. Please make sure you print submited application at end.

Regards.

Please Help

Hello Friends,

I got an offer from a company , they say they have approved I140.

They are willing to substitue for me.

My present company LC is pending at PBEC from Oct 2003.(Regional-RIR)

My sixth year h1b will be over by March 2006. My present company already filed for 7th year H1B extension.

The new company is saying they can get three H1 extension based on Approved I140 they have.

I dont know how they can do that, is it possible? please let me know.

This is the message i got from new company:

-----------------------------------------------------------------
The priority date of this labor is Sep 2004, and its EB3. There has been
talks that suggest, that both EB2 and EB3 might become current again in
next 3-4 months(so there is no difference between EB2 and EB3 now, even
now both are pushed back to almost same date)

On the basis of this approved I-140, we can do 3 years of
H1B extension.
You will not be anymore dependent on his current GC or labor or h1B(what
ever extension), you will now be dependent on this
approved labor/I-140, and will get immediately 3 years extension on H1B

We will not be interested to apply this I-140 for anyone, who wants us to
wait, and join. very soon, a new law is almost finalized, where
labor/I-140 cannot be substituted.
------------------------------------------------------------

guys please share your suggestions.

Thanks

Can you provide the link for this? Also do you think we an apply for AP also on our own.

Do we do need any original documents coz all my originals are with the lawyers?

Thanks

SaiWelcome,

Looking at the EB3 retrogression scenario, it looks like your current application with priority date of 2003 is more valuable than the new one with PD of 2004, if you think the chances of getting approval for LC is good. The talk of EB3 being current soon sounds like a dreamer's dream.

On the other hand it is an approved LC. If the company is not a shady one run by crooks -in fact I should say, if it doesn't score too low on the scale of shadyness-, it may be worth considering. I would guess they would try to take some money out of your pocket. Luckily for you, you are not desperate and they may be, because of the imminent law banning transfer.

If at all you decide to go forward, make sure that the skillset mentioned in the LC matches closely with yours or at least what your experience letters can show.
