Update: see my signature for updates. fyi:The RFE was for 3 months paystubs, employment verification letter with salary, hire date, title, job function etc.

You researched in wrong place, thats not giving you right statistics. You are way around 2000-2003 published data by USCIS/DOS in two-three months ago. It is a personal effort using Oversease Protector.

I need to get VSC's phone number to call and enquire about my case.


The USCIS Customer service doesnot give nay info out.

please call the USCIS national customer service center at 1-800-375-5283".

Here is the sequence of steps i followed to get to this:

Press 1 (for english),
press 2 (for existing case),
press 6 (for case statues etc),
then press 1( for knowing your receipt no.),
enter the receipt # to get the automated response saying blah blah blah and also at the end saying this is the most upto date information on your case and our customer the same info national customer service agents have (i totally agree with this).
Then choose to continue to the next step "press 3" . choose 3
Listen to the options-
Option 4 "if you feel if you submitted together and one of the applications is left out and not processed (don't remmember the exact message text ..but something about companion case "

You get transferred to VSC after choosing option 4.

Need to update USCIS also

My friend had the same problem.
He applied the address change form, but it did not update USCIS site.
They told him to update in USCIS site too.

helped someone prepare a representation last week who is in exactly same scenario. It was indeed tough for him, cause I kept telling him for little above three months to do it else visa might not be available, but he did not belv me. His case is EB3/PD Jan 2002 - ND March 2004.

This is the time to fire your engines. Remember when going gets tough - toughs get going! Do not leave any stoned unturned. This is the time to complete groundwork.

Also attach a copy of item I and II in your representation. If you need help with same, identify the congressman/senator which you will be aproaching, find out how they accept representation(not all are helpful, few might be anti-immigrant), prepare a draft and then pm me.

My guess work of USCIS working is:

Your application should be with in 30 days of processing time and 60 days of last message like FP/RFE.

God’s IMMENSE GRACE

Hi ALL,

It is purely God’s IMMENSE GRACE. My case has been approved today.

We got the great emails today morning for my spouse and me.

It’s a long journey for 8 years.

Friends like you all made this whole process much lighter. Whole heartedly thanking you all.
