Strange. USCIS is processing I140 March 19th cases (EB2), my ND is March 4th and still nothing. What should I do, other that telling my employer to call them?

I-140 AD: 04/22/2005 (after phone call from employer to USCIS)
I-485 AD: ????? LUD on 02/28/2005 no message change ,2nd LUD on 03/01/2005(msg change for FP),
3rd LUD on 04/21/2005 after status enquiry of my case, no msg change
4th LUD(RFE,EVL, last 2 months pay stubs, last 2yrs W2's/Tax returns) 04/28/2005

Ravi ,

It is always good to submit IRS tax transscipts , But problem is you may not get details for 2004 immedatly. you may get only 2002 and 2003 year . So many people got approvel by merly giving the 1040 HR block copies of it .i would suggest you collect 1040 copy get ready with pack . I would also suggest to call IRS and ask for transacipt for 2003 and 2004 , it may reach you in 7 to 10 days .

But merly 1040 copy is enough , consult your attorny too .

EB2 cases, as per latest approvels, looks like they working on 485 NDs sequence. whoever filed in June/July 05

Same here, our FP was done on 6th April, 2 LUDs and after that no LUDs on 485, no FP received message update! Phone call to USCIS - automated message mentions that due to temporary problems in their system they cannot access the status of this case! Don't know whats going on :confused:

Try to call using any other case like AP or EAD case, I have the same problem with I-485 case always gives this message , but the others are OK.
 
Reapproval of 485 amazing

On 28th March my 485 was approved and I got gc on 4th April and approval notice too. Yesterday I got email that my case is approved and on 3rd May USCIS mailed my approval notice.

Let it come, it could be a "email glitch" with different case #.

I dont disagree with that, the recent approvals show that trend but compare the number of applications they got on each date and the number of people who post their approvals in the forum. There is still no clear indication of their approval pattern. Look at my case. Now it even passed my date, no LUD after FP received, no RFE, no approval.
As a matter of fact I scanned for some cases filed on May 20 2004 which was a partial list of the total 629 I-485 cases on that date, there is almost no progress. I see cases with FP received as early as July 2004 still like that. But cases that completed FP in early April got approvals here and there, but very few. So, lucky guys only get approvals at VSC.

My 485 Approved

Hi,
Both my and my wife’s 485 was approved on 4/28/2005. I only came to know about it yesterday. For some reason I did not receive the approval email. But yesterday the status updated to Card Order completed and mailed.
Thank you very much to all of you for all the support you provided. This is really a great forum. Thanks to Rajive S Khanna for creating this great site. I wish every one all the best. I hope every one will get their Green Card soon. Thanks again. Please let me know if you have any questions.

You might have added another case to your portfolio to check it's LUD. Even though you might have removed it later, your email could have remained in the system. Check the EAC # in this email, I bet it's not your's.

That's funny... may be they liked you so much that they approved your 485 twice. :D :p
Congrates to all newly approved guys. Now approvals are coming in full form... hopefully they will move the PD also to get rest of us soon. :D :D

harypati,

It is strange that you got FP notice in Feb/March 05. Since yours is a Feb 04 case you should have recieved FP notice in the last wave which covered almost all cases up till march 04 end. Any specific reason for that ? As such you case also looks due for approval anytime now. Good Luck.

What was the msg on the website. I got mine approved on April 29th, but nothing about mailing me a card etc.

The following is my case status

Labor Filled: March 2002 , Approved: March 2004
140/ 485 Filed: April 2004
140 Approved: 2/10/2005
FP Done: 2/25/2005
485 LUD: 3/7/2005 (Only one LUD with message change – FP Received)

Afterwards no changes to my 485 – Is that normal????
