now that the processing dates have moved, my i140 though was filed on dec 30 2004 has not been processed yet. Do you guys feel that I should call up uscis and see whats going on?? or can I expect approval any time?

I have been a passive follower of this forum for the past one year.
Thanks to all the wonderful and timely input of Jharkandi, Itec, Jpanchal and all other people who made it posssible for this forum to be a great success.
I wish good luck to all of those who are waiting for their Green Card approval. Once again, I want to thank everyone on this forum for sharing their information and providing great moral support for those who are eagerly waiting for approvals.

Hi Sree,
You filed your case in jan 2004 and have not recd the approval for 140 yet? Interesting.. did you at all enquire your employer/Uscis about the case?
 
All,
There is an LUD on my wife's case today(04/21) and I get the following message online and 2 emails..

"On April 15, 2005, we responded to your request for more information concerning your case. If you have not received our response within 30 days from this date, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283"

What does this mean? This is a typical message when we (us or lawyer) make an enquiry on the case and I don't think we did that. However, could this be because of the Advance Parole extension filed(mailed ) for my wife on April 12th?
Or could this be an RFE?
Any Thoughts?

Man I am so relieved... I just bought 37k car... drove home and handed the keys to my wife... she told me that 485 is approved...
and my wife is due anytime... So many chages in life in too short time...

Only 2 LUDs for FP..?

FOr me, i just have two LUDs FP done april 5th, LUD on 5th and 6th.
May i know what phone # to call for FBI or USCIS to confirm that the case
is moving forward?

I applied in November 2004. It haven't got approved in 90 days. So I went to the center on March 3 2005 and got the interim EAD they gave around 9 months.
My Advance Payroll got approved on March 31 2005.

Still today when I enter the Receipt Number of EAD on their site its shows as pending. https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/caseStatusSearchDisplay.do

Anybody have any idea whats going on.

Question to Gurus

Guys,

Me and my wife had the FP done on 04/12 in Hackensack ASC, it was nice and uneventful, except one thing that puzzled me --

I was asked to do FP in electronic format (on a special screen) and my wife had her FP with ink on a paper.

Now after 2 LUDs (4/12, 4/13 on both applications) I got LUD (04/20) with a message "FP received" but my wife received no new LUDs.

I wonder whether anyone had a similar experience (digital vs ink for different family members) before and if anyone asked why. (I did not... and now am a bit jumpy what if people in ASC took FP incorrectly, or something else was wrong).
