I am not able to reach UISCIS customer Service Rep(I tried to call 800 number and its taking to Address update Customer Service rep and those have no access to my son's file, only thing they are doing is taking new request for Address change) to verify the address. Can some one help me, how can I contact Vermont Service Center and verify my Son's address.

For us it says " If we don't receive within 14 days cal 800-XXXXXX number to verify the address etc...

Thanks! Our 120 days is much worse than 14.....
Is this online status or actual text form the actual I797 form?

Senthil, Mine & my wife I-485 LUD changed on 04/06, 04/07. Mine has changed on 04/18 & 04/19. Guru's anybody has any idea what is going on my case.

First LUD after FP

Is there any particular time at whcih LUD happens after appearing for FP...Friend of mine appeared for FP today afternoon and he is complaning about no LUD yet....
Usually first LUD happens immidiately after FP is taken..Am I correct?

What after FP ?

Friends:

I completed my FP 3 days ago - I see 3 LUDs on my 485 by now (But No Message Change - I know it takes time, batch updates, etc, etc).

Question - Now what ? Whom do I call to check my FBI status, Name check Status, FP submitted Status ?

Can I do anything to expadite my case ... as my PD is current.

Kind guidance appreciated.

LUD on my 140 are same as yours (4/13 and 4/14), haven't seen any update on my case yet. :confused:

All,
I have called to USCIS on April, 6th regarding my EAD, because it's been more then 120 days and not recieved any info about my EAD/AP etc...
They took all my info and said they will get back to me after 30 days.

After 5 days they sent me two e-mails saying that:

Current Status: for my EAD

On April 10, 2005, we responded to your request for more information concerning your case. If you have not received our response within 30 days from this date,
please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

What does this mean??
Is it RFE? Or is it somethingelse??
What is it?? Has anybody got the same message ???

you might have changed your address thats the reason it says "We responded to your request ..." its not an RFE dont worry.

Can anyone please post their experience of Infopass/ Passport stamping process along with the list of documents that one need to carry for the same
 
Finally freeedom rings - 485 approved

The wonderful emails with the approval came in as soon as i logged in at work today.

On April 18, 2005, after approving your application, we ordered you a
new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

Thanks all for the support and encouragement during this process. i will visit the site on and off and see if i can help.
