If they would have refused i would have talked to the Supervisor and would have asked for a proper reason as they are suppose to do what it is rather asked in the notice. First of all, congratulations to all I-485 approval.

I did my FP (code 3 but no photo or signature was taken) on March 10 but have not seen any LUD on I-485. Following the suggestions on the board, I called FBI today and was told they have not received FP results. I called USCIS and was told to wait. I questioned about code 3 and CR said it is only FP and code 2 is biometrics which I believe it was not accurate.

So I went to ASC again today again with a copy of FP notice and told them I had code 3 but no photo or signature was taken on March 10. Apparently, they knew what code 3 meant and got everything (FP again, right index finger, photo and signature).

The person who took my FP last time was there at the reception and I asked her why no photo or signature was taken last time. She told me to do everything again and don't say anything when I go inside.

I think the reason of no LUD is because biometrics were not complete. If you have code 3, make sure everything is taken. Now let's see if I will see any LUD on my I-485.

I had a code 3 for my FP, but only my Finger prints were taken, no photo or signature. The status message was updated (for both) saying that they have received the FP results and resumed the case. Any thoughts?

Gurus,
I have been following this forum for a while and I have started to hear the term Infopass Appointment. Could anybody shed some light on it for the ones who don't know. What is an Infopass Appointment?

Hmm...you may want to go back to ASC and check it again just to be safe.

Code 3 at Boston ASC

Does anyone know whether Boston ASC does both FP and Biometrics for Code-3..I was just curious because for some of the cases I read on forum biometrcis was not done..

please post what you find after you call uscis. i know atleast four people (yourself, upandwaiting, docneedsdoc and myself) who are not getting their lud's updated.
i just spoke to FBI@304 625 5590 option#3 and the lady was extremely courteous. I told her i am checking the status of my FP for adjustment of status application and she asked me for A#. And ofcourse i didn't have it handy so i said i will have to call her back and she asked me for my first and last name and pulled my data and informed me that my FP was received on 03/16/05, entered into the system and returned to USCIS on the same day. I am still wondering why we are not seeing any status change. USCIS simply forgetting to update our status seems unlikely now as this is not an isolated incident but turning into a trend.......

I had my FP done on 3/10/05 and I got the updated message only yesterday. Of course, it was a manual FP. FBI received my results on the 15th and USCIS updated only yesterday. I believe delays do happen with USCIS.

My sister did her FP on Mar 14th, there were no LUD Changes and this afternoon a full 8 days after FP, there was a message change...hold on and you will see message change in 2-3days.

As for the person asking abt code 3 at BOSTON ASC, YES, they are aware of what code 3 means and do everything right the first time...i have been there done that...hope this helps
 
Congrats. My receipt date was 04/22/04. As I see some of the receipt date for I-140/I-485 as April 04, I will keep my fingers crossed for now!!

Did you get any RFE after filing your I-140/I-485 ? You receipt date for I140/485 is close to mine, however my FP was done on Sept 03, 2004.

Yep..here is my info.
EB3 / sub. I140 RD 12/21/04 ND 12/27/04; no RFE or any thing like that...LUD 12/30/04

What's your LUD??

Is the code 3 mentioned somewhere on USCIS Notice of Action for fingerprinting?

2. Code is mentioned on the notice upper center postion where all the dates and numbers are printed

FP Update message and LUDS

1. Two LUDs on I-485 are seen after Biometrics

2. Usually after about 7 days you see message change + LUD on I-485 that FP results are received ....

3. I talked to one USCIS CR she told me that even though they receive results form FBI they update after about 14 to 20 days. So in many cases no LUD + MSG change on 485 even though 10 to 12 days have passed after FP in many cases if your FP is done two days before mass system update you see msg change on i-485

Hope this clears the situation on LUDs

Fundas of LUDS:
1. LUD's on i-140 is bad sign (likely chances of RFE)
2. Conti...LUD's on i-485 after FP msg change is a good sign
3. No approval of i-140 (no LUD) is very good sign you will likely get approval soon after FP (Like JK's, I have pate...cases, One more case I see ZC03_ When)
4. No LUDs on I-485 if you request AP/EAD renewal.
5. LUD on I-485 after address change

Current processing trend...
Approvals for EB2/EB3 with LC before Mar 2002 (like JK And IHP (I have..))
