Our RD are very close, and I also got the FP notice. So I was wondering about the reasons for getting FP so soon. Is it because they are going to approve our case very soon.. :D

What is your priority date? As per your signature it is 10/04, is this correct?

if you check your PD its may 2001
that's why you got FP and your case will approve soon
 
I was installing windsheild vipers and slightly cut my hand (you can barely see the cut). I was about to go today but my co-worker says his wife was sent back without them taking FP because of a similar cut. I'll probably wait for 2 more days.

It can happen anytime during 485 stage. Validity time has changed.(It used to be what you are telling).

If you send email to find out status:
1. Sometimes your email will bounce back - keep trying.
2. It may even take months before they respond to your request. This doesn't means that your case is waiting for name check to be done - maybe it is already done.

I-485/I-140/EAD ND: Oct 15 2004 (this is the date I see on the USCIS website)
AP ND: Dec 10 2004 (this is the date I see on the USCIS website)
I-140 approved: Nov 17 2004
EAD approved: Jan 19 2005 (After RFE for missing photos)
AP approved: Feb 9 2005
Fingerprint Notice: received Feb 20 2005 (for March 12 2005)

Received my FP notice today.

FP date: 3/31/05

I have a question. The notice says that I need to take any receipt notices associated with my case. Does that mean that I need to get a copy of my
I-485 notice from the lawyer?

Mine is EB3 Sep 2002 PD same as yours..

Just confused about FP !!

Hi All -

If we do not have an LUD change or an email to tell us about FP then how would we know that we have a scheduled appointment? Who gets this notification and how?

You will get notification from uscis in regular USPS mail. If you have filed G-28, your lawyer will get it too.

Reveived FP notice for both me and my wife .FP is scheduled for MAR 26th in Sanjose .My PD is 2004 .

I think VSC is doing some kind of batch processing . Many people in this forum got their FP's with PD's in 2004. All the best to you all.

Hope they do some thing similar with 485 approvals too .
