Can you make a few comment on my situation. I filed I140/I485/EAD concurrently with my wife and ND date is 06/10/2004. I am a primary applicant and my wife is a second applicant. I filed I140 under category EB2--NIW(national interest waiver). Does it take longer for EAD approvement than other applicants who had labor certificate approved?

IT should not take more than anyone else filing in other category, wait 60 to 90 days for the EAD :)

No, I don't think the category matters for EAD approval.
 
Wife's EAD Approved

Applied on July 02 2004, my EAD was approved yesterday(July 21) and my wife's EAD got approved today.

Just could not believe my eyes but its true my 140 got approved today, withing six months which is amzing looking at the back log they have. Funny part is EAD and Ap are still not approved(got RFE on 14 may , replied back on June 22) but no news yet.

Can anyone explain what does approval of I140 mean in terms of changing job. Can I change jobs now and if I change does it still have to be similar job or it could be any job I want.

Appreciate ur responses. Good luck for everyone.

LUD changed for my EAD and AP on 07/20 and 07/21. I have not seen this type of LUD pattern. I am a bit concerned if this is going to be an RFE.

Hi,

Recently I applied for 140 and 485 concurrently. My RD is 7/6/04 and yesterday I received a letter from United states department of state,national visa center,portsmouth,NH. In the letter they highlighted following sentences.

"We have searched our records and unable to locate this case".

The reason they gave is .

Please provide more information such as:
They highlighted "Please include a copy of the notice of action that indicatesthe petetion has been approved and was sent to the NVC"

NVC means National Visa Center.

Any one have any idea what they are asking . Does it H1B approval notice.

Anyway, I have added your record now.
 
I have been waiting for EAD for more than four months now.
EAD for me and my wife was filed in 03/08/2004. We received an RFE asking for photo id, we replied back on 07/01/2004.
I would like to know when i will be getting my EAD in the mail. My H1 is going to expire by end of August. Could somebody suggest me what should i do whether to wait for EAD or apply for an H1B extension. Please help me.
