LUD change

Gurus,
LUD changed two times(4/1, 4/4) after FP MSG Change(i.e 3/28). Is it nomal? Please share your experience.

FP done in Philly.

My husband and I got our FP done in Philadelphia on friday. No hassles. FP, photograph and signature. The staff wasnt very courteous or polite but they did their job. :rolleyes:

Pls update the tracker for us

I did my FP 0n 03/26/05 and after that I saw TWO LUDs changed but No Msg..
Today i just called FBI and they told me that, they sent the Finger Print result to INS on 03/2605 it self.
But still i not see any update in my case..
Should i need to call INS to check the status or not?

Please let me know and what should be the number(INS) that I need to call.

I-140 question?

My I-140 wasn't showing up( Web & IVR ) from the time I applied in 05/05/04 although I sent a lot of requests about it. I called the Vermont service center directly on Friday and they did the changes so that it's showing up now. I also asked about the status, she told that it is in a regular security check. Do you guys believe that it wasn't showing up for me and not showing up for other parties that should process the case? how long does it take for the regular security check?

Infopass printing

Jharkhandi,

I will post my PP stamping experience, when I made Infopass appointment, my printer got strucked and I could not print it, Is there any way I can print the appointment. I do have the confirmation number and PIN.

My feeling is that down the line, some code 3 people will not get the card in time and then USCIS will revert partially - maybe start putting stamp(without asking for another right index FP and photographs) - this will be a nice compromise between saving time and saving hassles for applicants. Another feeling is that people will be able to exercise this option only if they do not get cards in 120 days of approval. - Just a feeling - all this may take 6 months or more, if USCIS ever realizes the pain of applicants who missed cards. Eventually most of the applicants will get cards delivered directly, but I doubt if code 1 will ever go out 100%!

Do post your experience when done with FP.

I had a LUD after I received the RFE notification email. What does it mean. I'm expecting it to be the date when they actually mailed the letter. How long it might take for these people to receive it and respond. What is the time limit? Please respond.

LUDs : 03/08/2005, 03/09/2005,03/11/2005 (RFE issued ), 03/14/2005 (I guess RFE mailed )

03/21/2005 RFE received by lawyer (asked for educationla eval..)
03/29/2005 RFE response mailed
-------
LUDs : 03/30/2005(RFE response received), 03/31/2005, 04/01/2005 (Approved)

FYI.. Try using the Cancel appt option.
once you enter ur number/pin it will take u to a cancellation screen
showing ur appt date/time, probably u can use this as a backup.. note: if you say YES it will cancel ur appt, dont select YES.

Just say NO and close the screen..

First LUD after FP

Just saw the first LUD change on 485 after FP (done on 4/2/04). Message has not changed though!

By the time the 12:00PM appointees were called-in it was almost 2:00PM. We went in and rest of the process went smoothly. We came out of ASC by 3:30.

I have to commend the folks at Alexandria ASC who have been extremely patient in dealing with 100s of anxious ppl all day every day!!! I would not want to do their job.

My PD is Feb 2001, and 140/485 AD is 4/9/04. Hopefully we will see the 485 approval soon.

Make an appointment again through infopass using your name, DOB etc. that you used for the previous appointment. It will display your original appointment confirmation page.

No, I need to make an Infopass appointment to set I551 stamp and for card ordering.

I could able to print the infopass ( when I tried to make a new appointment it brought up my previous appointment)

GC sponsor and current employer might be different, hence the reason for interview.

There was 'Sri4GC' who did travel to San Jose from current location for 485 interview. I suggest, It's better to attend interview @ SJ with all paperwork rather than messing up your case further.
