Experience

1. You will tell us - how big a pain it was! :D No it is a straight process if you are past 90 days and there is no RFE, no holds on your case.
2. You will walk out with iEAD.
3. Depends where you go. Check with your local office - if they need appoinments.
4. Again depends where and when you go!

Search for experience with the local office. Once you are done - do not forget to post your experience - it will help others too.

Jharkhandi,
Well I already had to go through all this for my driving license. It took me two days to get it renewed and I still could not forget all those long lines . So going to get for iEAD to some office is kind of a scary though for me. May be I will overcome it by passage of some time.

Anyway I am waiting for my wife's EAD. (I received my EAD about two weeks back). I think we will prefer to wait till we lose our patient.
Thanks

Did you apply for I-140 in both EB2 and EB3 categories ?

Yes... My attorney has convinced my employer that this is a common practice (especially when a candidate is eligible for both the categories EB2 and EB3).

Keeping my fingers crossed ...

I don't know how common it is, but I have read somewhere in this forum that it can be done. When one gets approved, the other is abandoned, I think.

I will update the spreadsheet with your case information.

Good luck !

LC_Virginia,

I think it will be a good idea to keep people in this tracker where even one date is in 2004, as 2003 tracker will be over soon(so better for applicant to get in later tracker), we will know what is happening in advance(selfish motive again :D)

Your thoughts ... :)

my I140 Filed in 2004 . I dont know Tracker is by I140 or I485 Dates

GCforeveryone, I have no problem adding your record to the 2004 tracker. You posted the following information, where your I-140 was filed in November 2003. Is this correct ?

Advanced Parole

Hi all,

I am currently working on my H1B visa. I have applied for EAD but not AP. If I were to travel to India would I need AP ?

Thanks.

Not necessary, if you have stamping of H1 on your Passport.

My wife went to India and returned 4 days back without any problem. We also did not apply for AP and she has valid H4 visa for another 20 months.
