huh...My 485 was filed in Nov 2004. Do you think name check can be done so early. Its USCIS man....no clue what the LUD changes are...

Gurus:

I need your input in my I140 Case:
My lawer(Company) Applied my I140 and I485(me and my dependents).
I got receipt notices for I485 and I765 ND: OCT 13 2004 and EAD got Approved for me and my spouse.
Got FP notices for me and my Dependents and done on 03/24/2005 at newark service center.
But my company still didn't received I140 Receipt.
Today i spoke to my lawer and she called NSC to enquire about my I140 Receipt and they said that they have I485 and I765(EAD) info on their system but they don't have information about my I140.(Searched by my Last Name)
My question is how USCIS is processed my EAD and issued FP notices without having I140 Application?
What i am suppose to do now?Any suggestions please....

My spouse and my FP is scheduled on 21st April in Alexandria, VA :) . I’m wondering did anyone try early FP there. Please update the tracker with my info.

Finger Prints Finally coming to Northern VA residents..

It seems Finger Print Notices are finally being scheduled to VA residents..We got FP Notice today scheduled for 04/23/2005 with ND of 03/21/2005 at Alexandria/VA ASC.

My notice date says scheduled date as 22-APR-2005 (even though our notice date is same.)
Alexandria allows early FP only on Wednesdays and Saturdays (as per old posts chances are 50-50). Most likely we will try 30-MAR-05 (or next Saturday). If you go early, please PM me.

Question on Advance Parole (I-131)

Pardon if this question doesn't belong to this forum....

Does a person filing for I-131 (based on 485) physically need to be present in the USA at the time of its approval?

The instructions of I-131 form says that an applicant CANNOT leave the country while it is being processed. Applicant has a valid H visa with stamping in the passport.

Anyone around with similar experience?

FP and EAD have to do with pending 485 AOS application while i-140 is Immigration petition for alien worker?

Just do this if you have the check (that you wrote for i-140 and other fees) check back you might find your EAC numbers.

Be contact in your lawyer and employer.
 
How long one should wait as soon as the I-485 is approved and stamping is done? Is it mandatory for the employee to be with the sponspored employer 6 months?

Finger [print notice received

Hi All,
Yesterday i.e. on 03/25/05, I have received my finger print notice received having notice date 03/22/05 for 05/10/05.
Can some one please update the tracker!
Currently my family is in India who are yet to be added to my 485 list. They will be joining me somewhere June/July-2005. I think this should be ok to have them added to my 485 once they come here. Any input will be appreciated.

If your are on H1 and have a valid visa in passport, you can enter and leave as you wish. You dont have to wait for AP approval.

If you dont have a valid visa, then you must wait till Advance Parole is approved before you leave.

If you have both, then it is up to you on what you want to use when entering. Entering on AP wont invalidate your H1 (there are other considerations though)

FP done successfully..

I completed FP today (as per schedule) in Newark-NJ with Code#3.
It took me more than 4 Hours!!
