fingerpriting for I-485 for post 4/1/04 dates

Hi,

Does anyone know why the fingerprinting has stopped for applications with
notice dates after 4/1/04. Any idea when it will start, since for
concurrent applications, even the I-140s seem to be not processing
currently.

What is PD in my case?

Hi,

My labor was cleared in Oct 2003 and I filed for i-140 and i-485 concurrently (04/13/04) . I don't have PD in ND what is PD in my case?
What is my PD?????

Can we request people to mention their country so that it will help us to get better idea on VSC processing procedure. Myself - India

I talked to a nice lady at VSC a couple of days back to find out where my case is at. She said she is not allowed to give out the status informations but mentioned something very interesting.
She said "Your receipt date is March 25th 2004. Your case is being processed. It would have been another story if it had been after April 2004." I did not want to probe her further. If anybody gets a chance they can find out more.

LUD Changes for 485 is 11/22/2004. It changed twice for two consecutive dates after finger print. Status is same "We received your fingerprint..blah blah .. and ur case has resumed.. blah blah..."

EB2
PD:8/5/2002
ND: 3/5/2004
EAD/AP: 5/12/2004
FP: 11/20/2004
140: 1/13/2005
485: ?????

Concurrent Filing after April 04

For Concurrent files after 30th April 04:

If finger print is completed at the time of I-140 approval then I-485 will be approved at the same time. That is the main reason why we see quick approval of I-485 for eb-3 category once i-140's are approved.....

I-485 approved

I got an email message for my 485 approval. But my wife's 485 was not approved yet and seems to be a query for that.
Please update the tracker.

This forum is the best in this site. I came to know a lot from this thread alone. I really appreciate those contribute to this forum with their expriences and knowledge, and those who were updating the tracker very promptly.

Good luck for those who are waiting for approval!!

I have this major confusion in my head - maybe a stupid one - but can anyone clear it out for me?

PD - Feb 22, 2002
140 & 485 - Concurrent ND - Nov 22, 2004
EAD & AP - AD - Dec 15, 2004
Country - India
Category - EB3

As far as I understand, I am affected by the regression.
The current processing dates at VSC for 140 is Oct 15, 2004 ND and for 485 is Jun 19, 2003 ND.

Where do I find out for what PD these dates are? Also, if there is no available visa number when my case is getting handled, will the 140 and 485 get denied - I have filed them with separate filing fees...

I cannot understand why they had to create so much confusion...or is it just me? :confused: :rolleyes:

Any help you gurus would mean a lot...thanks again - Roni
 
Hi Roni,

From what I understand, your I-140 should get approved when the processing date reaches your ND, but you will have to wait for the approval of I-485 till the published PD reaches your PD. The PD for EB3 is published in the monthly Visa Bulletin of Dept. of State. See below:

The PD for EB3 applicants from India, China & Philippines is 01JAN02. So when it goes beyond Feb 22, 2002 (your PD), your I-485 will be processed/approved.

Last month I applied for I140 & I485.

I-140 & 485 notice date: 12/29/2004.

Just wanted to know how much time its taking for -
1. EAD
2. I-140
3. I-485

No FP for April 04

Still unable to understand, why VSC is not considering sending FP for April 04 applicants.

Is there any change in policy?

Any one in the forum has any clue?

Folks,

Is the notice date for I140/485 same as the receipt date ?
I do have a receipt date for 485. How do I find out the notice date if I have the case number ?
