Real indicator of EB2 movement and also whether FOM will be implemented will be when they start issuing FP Notices for people after March.

Looks like they stopped with March (EB2 and FP) for quite some time now.
 
How to get I140 Case Number...

Hi,

My case was filed concurrent at VSC and I have the receipts for I-485/EAD/AP however I don't have the case number for the I-140. Could one of you gurus explain the procedure to get the I-140 case number?

Also, is it possible that I-485 can be filed without the I-140 being filed.

Not sure if all EB2s are getting processed. Note that so far EB2-I140 approvals are for those with PD in 2001

Good news :) - my i 140 got approved

Here are the details

EAD/AP : RD - 10/21/2004 ND 10/28/2004 AD - 11/12/2004
I140 : RD - 10/21/2004 ND 10/28/2004 AD - 11/15/2004

Could you please let me know how to get the I-140 case number? My case was filed concurrent at VSC and I have the receipts for I-485/EAD/AP.

I got all the receipts for EAD/AP/ I 140 / I 485 from the lawyer.
And all the recepits have case no starting with EAC*****..

Approval - I-140 and AP

Oh my god! Less than a month and my I-140 got approved. :eek:
Last night i checked my messages and I received a mail saying that my I-140 got approved on Nov 17th 2004. :)
Then today morning I got another mail with the message that my AP has been approved on Nov 18th 2004. :)

I did not expect the I-140 to be cleared before end of Dec. that is if I was lucky.
This is definitely a pleasant surprise.
And what surprises me most is that when I login the USCIS website it tells me that it received my cases on Oct 27th whereas the Lawyer gave me the Received date as Oct 19th. If the actual receiving date is Oct 27th then it took like what 20 days for 140 approval.
But hey...no complaints. It does not matter what ever the Received date is, all that matters is what is the APPROVAL date. ;)

Please update the tracker with my information.

After a looooooooooong labor, this definitely was what I needed to cheer me up.

My fedex was delivered yesterday.

So how long before VSC sends me a reciept or case number whichever applies?
