FOM action in TSC

Guys,
As per "http://www.murthy.com/news/n_tsc140.html", FOM seems to be in action atleast now in Texas Service Center(TSC).The current TSC policy is to process concurrently-filed I-140/I-485 cases according to the I-140 processing dates which is July 2003. Interestingly for seperate filers, the 485s are adjudicating as of 485 processing dates which is "April 22, 2002", allmost an year and half behind non concurrent filers...I found couple of cases from Texas Service Center Thread whose 140 and 485 s are cleared simultnesouly all most in an years time of filing(Thier 140/485 filing date is some time September 2003 one cse is EB2 and the other one is EB3). I am not sure how VSC implements FOM..Gurus, any idea...?VSC also follows TSC pattern..?

No notice date (EAC number) for I 140

Hi,

I applied for I140/485/EAD/AP on April, 29 2004. I got my EAD/AP in July. But still did not receive anything on my I140. Processing date shows, May 12, 2004.

I don't have EAC number for my I140. How can I follow up on my case?

Thanks,
Pritam

Some good news :) :) :) after the following "Appellate Body" clause.

I got approval of 140 on 10/01/04, as told by my employer that he got the copy of approval notice.
with reference to my case, all of you, who got the same, keep very good hope, as the words "Certified" and "Approval" are there... So keep good faith.

This was my status message.

How does your online case status for your I-140 looks like now. Did the online status changed too, or it is the 'normal' approval notice received by your employer?.

Thanks,

The status still shows the same (Strange, but I have asked my employer to get me the copy of 140, let me see that myself for any further comments)

Thanks! northamerican, Congrats!.

That's a good news. Please let us know what you find in the notice itself. Like you, we too won't start feeling good until we have seen ours, but your post indeed raised our hopes.

Thanks!

Congratulations Northamerican and thank you for sharing inormation with us, Your approval is giving us good hope. My message is same as yours and same date too. I have couple of things, which I didn't understand. you are saying that the approval date is 10/01/2004. do you think someone worked on this case before they sent you approval notice and did not update the LUD?
If USCIS mailed on 10/01/2004, did your employed received by today? that is so fast.

Different A#s in I-140 and I-485 applications.

Hi All,

I am new to this board - I have a quick question. Immigration guru's please
advise me.

I applied for I-140 in Feb, 2004 and my I-485 in March, 2004 in EB2 category. I noticed today only that the A#'s listed on my I-140 and
I-485 are different. But the A#s that I have on AP, EAD and I-485 are
the same. The questions I have are -
1. Would it be a problem if we have different A#s on I-140 and I-485?
2. In case I need to get it corrected, what is the procedure.

Thanks a lot guys in advance..
