One more approval

Hi guys,

I would like to thank Rajiv and all the guys here who have been very helpful to me. I have got email approval so far, and I would be much grateful if someone can tell me what are the next steps and how long it would take to get me the real green card. It will be very helpful for me to plan my trip abroad.

Since my info was never in the spreadsheet, I'm listing here all the dates I know about my case. I might be wrong by a day or two for some dates.

I had filed 140 & 485 separately. Mine and wife's 485 approval emails came in together when we were on vacation last week.

140 ND: Apr 4, 02

I am still waiting for my Approval to come. I see so many approvals which were filed after my ND date. Is there any one who is still in this time frame who is waiting for their approval. Any suggestions is appreciated.

I485/AP1/EAD1 ND 08/20/03
AP1/EAD1 AD 11/17/03
EAD2 ND 05/24/04

FP done 10/19/04
LUD changed only once after FP 10/21/04.

I guess the EB-3 Retrogression dates are official now (01/01/2005) and do we get I-485 approvals since most of our labour cases were filed after Jan 2002? (for EB3)
Lets hope atleast for some days VSC will approve some cases.
we need to watch approval cases on or after Jan 1,2005 for EB3 cases
 
Approved Finally

I got the sweet sweet mail from USCIS yesterday. Both mine and my wife's 485 got approved yesterday. Talk about a New Years gift.
Mine is a EB3 with PD of 7th jan 2002. I had basically give up hope of getting approved anytime soon because of dates moving back. But it seems my case might have been approved on 31st and they updated the website on 3rd Jan.
JUST IN THE NICK OF TIME.

Thanx to all on this forum for all the great information. It has really helped me keep sane during every step of the whole 3 year process which is finally over for me.

March 03 - Got first FP

Hi,

I got my first FP scheduled in Jan. Looks like things are moving for March 03 fillers.
My PD is Jan 04 2002.

Is there any one with early FP in Boston, MA? Thinking of going this Saturday.

Your priority date is within the limits.

Labour applied from Phili in Oct 2001
Labour approved in June 2003
140/485 Concurrent filling on Oct 28 2003
140 Approved in April
FP Oct 21 2004
485 ??????

I see 485 approvals for people who filed after me.
Can some one let me with My PD when I may/will get my 485 approved.

I'm also from Philly, my ND is 1 day after yours and I did my FPs on the same date as you, so your approval makes me quite happy. My PD is however 8 months older.

My 485 On the Edge

I come to this forum very frequently but hadnt got a chance to reply. I had been a silent watcher for a while but now things are nervous on seeing a lot of approvals in the same time frame as mine. Am kind of worried on having read through some of the post that says denial of I485 does not show up online. Is that true?


Anyway The kind of support and knowledge you folks share had been amazing, thank you guys for your continued support.

First of all let me thank people on this board for the valuable support.
Today I got email from USCIS that my application has been approved for I-485.

I wish best of luck for all who are waiting.

here are my details
I-140/I-485 ND 11/20/03 (SUB. labor)
priority date on I-140 is 15-oct-2001
FP DONE ON 10/30/04
LUD CHANGED 11/04/04(FP RCVD), 12/08/04 (NOTHING HAPPEND)
I-485 APPROVED TODAY- 01/05/04.

Any guesses on why the LUD changed 3 times after FP results were received?
