2002 Jan/Feb/Mar RD/ND - The optimists Part II

RFE received.

Me:
Employment verification letter

Spouse:
marriage certificate (we got marreid in US and filed the certificate in the orignal package, don't know why they are asking again) and
"documentedt evidence" for legally maintaining F-1 status between July 2000 to present , including "official transcript".

They are straightforward except for the F-1 business. Anybody got the transcript request also?

Will let you know how it pans out....

Notice Date 1/10/2002
Reciept date 1/8/2002
FP 6/15/2002
RFE DATE: 9/18 received by attorney on 9/22

Submit a currently issued letter or other evidence from the prospective permanent employer that indicates your current position, if any, your proffered position, and proffered wage and indicating that the terms and conditions of the employment petition continue to exist

Also proof of EAD requested

No mention of fingerprints? I presume that your fingerprints would have expired just a couple of days before NSC issued your RFE. I guess that would be too much to expect from this moribund system:rolleyes:

Well, my finger prints expired on 7/23 which was after my rfe was issued(7/11) and before they received the response(7/30). They still sent me out a second FP notice dated 8/15 and scheduled 9/12.

Yes, I do not have anything better to do than

to rub salt into your wounds! Dude, this is the thread for the 2002 optimists and I am just providing one additional data/reference point for you folks that may be NSC is starting to move on 02 cases in earnest. I am in the same boat as everyone else, i.e. waiting, and if this data can be of help to anyone then it is not supoosed to be rubbing salt.

I got second FP notice on Friday after replying the RFE. (online message changed to reply rcvd on 9/30) It is scheduled for 10/16. So need to wait another 10 more days...
