Called IIO today and was told that their system was down and to call back tomorrow.

Checked the automated vm and got the message
"On August 24th, after approving your case, we have ordered a new card for you. It normally takes between 120-140 days for us to process. We will send the card to you as soon as it is available."

Checked the EAD VM thread in this forum and found that this would change to approved shortly.

Hoping for the best.

Note: I guess the april enders are getting EAD approved -- about time..

Checked AVM EAD has got approved. Still waiting for FP. How long it will take to recieve card?

Haven't received fingerprinting notice yet.
My attorney faxed 1st inquery on 4/27/2002.

After 15 business days, my attorney will fax 2nd inquery if I don't get FP notice.

Mine got approved.

I too got a similar message. 120-140 days. On Aug 22, This message was updated on AVM. And on Aug 26, I got EAD for me and my Wife.:)

thanks whiterose, just checked my FP

Talked to the FBI. They asked for the A# for wife and myself. The results are sent back to INS the same day and the file is complete from their side.

VM for me has changed to 'processing resumed' but not to my wife.

My EAD vm still states the same :

My ND is 04/24/02... any inputs on when this could change... thanks
 
How many days it will take to get EAD card?

My EAD card has been mailed on 8/26. So far I haven't recieved it. Usually how many days will it take to recieve the card?

Yet to receive EAD though. AVM says card has been ordered and it takes 120-150 more days. Hopefully should get EADs over the next few days

I spoke to an IIO yesterday and asked her about the 120 - 140 days vm after EAD has been approved. She told me that EAD is approved and it has been sent to the card center !!!?.. It should be delivered within 3 weeks? - Sounds good to me, but then why put a vm of 120 -140 days!?

Regarding FP, she told me to send a fax by myself. Should I send it or should I ask my attorney to do so.. Someone advise - Thanks

Could somebody please confirm what do we get from INS, EAD card or approval notice? or do we get seperately. My attorney has got copy of approval notice and I haven't recieved anything so far. Could somebody tell me about this .

Received EAD today by mail.
It was approved on the 24th of August.
