***important*** be prepared to be turned back by the ASC , because u r there before your appointment date

go to the ASC (application support center) specified in your FP notice.

prepare an answer for a question like ' why did you came in early?' ( something like you have another event coming up)

if they are satisfied they let u in.....
else...wait for your appointment

If you are close to San Jose ASC, then you can go there any working day (they work on saturdays also) and get your FP done earlier.

Other ASCs are a little strict about the dates.

At San Jose, you dont need to take any further appointment, just carry your FP notice, sometimes the original I485 receipt and Ids.
Sometimes, (I guess mostly on mondays and tuesdays) there will be a long queue. Other times it is as good as empty.

Also, make sure your fingers dont have any cuts, because then your fp will not come ok.

I am not sure if 'any other' because each ASC has its own policies about entertaining FP 'guests' earlier than scheduled. Then as kmn suggested just be prepared to be turned down.

Either way, pls post your experiences
 
EAD approved for me and my wife

I am in PCee's website, April,

02-153-5xxxx,

approved on 08/07 per AVM, now saying "New card ordered, it will take 120...."

I hope it won't take too much time to get the card.

it looks like people applied between april 20 and april 30 haven't recieved FP's. please update whoever applied in this period . How are you expediting the process through your attorneys and the status of it and whoever recieved FP's for this period.Thanks

how does one check with FBI?

I see people talking that they check whether FBI is done or not? How does one verify? My FP status: results received, processing resumed. for my wife, still 975-999 days. I want to check the process status.
