realmessy, sorry to hear that. I can't believe this is really happening. Since you cannot switch job now, maybe you can use your EAD to get a paying part time job?
Thank you!
Suppose my old employer promises not to revoke my I-140, what if CIS a year later asks for an employment letter from the new employer? On the new employment letter, it will show my starting date with the new company. If CIS notice that this date is actaully within the 180 day...
Hi -
I have an approved I-140 sponsered by the current employer and my I-485 has been submited. If I switch to a new employer BEFORE I-485 penging for 180 days, am I safe if the old employer does not revoke my I-140 before 180 days? Any other risks?
Thank you very much...
You are correct. But is the Receipt Date the same as the Received Date? On I-485 receipt, there are Received Date and Notice Date, but no such "Receipt Date".
Hi - I noticed that some I-485 packages were transferred from NSC to TSC even if they were filed directly to NSC. Anyone knows if this is a random selecton, or is it based on where the I-140 was approved, or is it based on something else? Any thoughts?
Greetings!
I have a basic question.
Must all the I-485 be filed to the Nebraska Center no matter where you live? Does Nebraska Center distribute I-485 to other centers such as TX center just like what they do with I-140?
Thanks
Thanks desi3933. That I know. My question is that must the new job in company B "similar or the same" as the old one in company A? I think this applies to AC21, not I-140. Am I right?
Greetings!
I am currently working for company A and looking forward to joining company B. Company A has applied PERM and I-140 for me, and both are already approved. I understand that I may keep the original priority date if I join company B, although I have to redo PERM and I-140 with the...
experence letter?
The LC for my position does not require any experience (MS+0yr). When filing I-140, the attorney wants to put all my working experience on the form. Do I have to submit employment letter for those experience? Those experience is in the related fields but my LC does not require...
mcman,
What do you mean that your ceritfications don't help? Does your LC require any special skills and you want to use your ceritfications to justify it, and USCIS does not accept those ceritfications? Please clarify...

Hi there,
2 questions:
1. What does "LUD" mean?
2. As I-140 is pending, can one file I-485 if his/her PD becomes current? Or one has to file I-485 after I-140 is approved?
Thanks a lot!
creative10: HR already received a hardcopy letter saying that the case has been certified. The incorrect email address belonged to HR but it is outdated and no longer working.

Filed on 10/19/05 Chicago. In Process from day one. Never received verification email because the email address on 9089 is wrong. No calls either. Good luck to you all.
