My case was approved on Feb. 24. My case details are very similar to desi145 and my name check was cleared a couple weeks before desi145's name check. There was a LUD change before approval. Good luck every body.

My FBI Name check was done in early Jan 2005. Checked with USCIS early Feb. They still don't have the FBI clearance on file. It still says, FBI Clearance pending. Looks like they do loose the name check report and delay 485 processing. It is unbelievable how reckless they are.

I am noticing that its the same person sending FBI pending emails to all of us. It is the now famous "Kathleen Bergey". May be she is just the PR person, but why not consider the possibility that she puts all the cases that go to her under detailed review!!!

There are many waiting from 02/03 and early 04, so I guess it is too early for you to get worried. Give it sometime before you start really worrying!

Not to discourage you Mish4gc. I tried everything possible to accelerate the FBI name check process. Fruitless. But no harm trying, you could be the lucky one.
