Congrat! One infopass appointment is good for the couples. They also asked for I-94 (original one when you entered USA, not the one with H1-B. but it seems ok if you do not keep the original one). 4 photo if your passport expired in 6 months. You don't need to wait until the appointment time...

If your FP is valid, you will get approval in 30 days. After I made an inquiry in January, they sent me a letter to say "your case has sent to supervisior for review." Then I got FP notice in two weeks. Then the magic mail came in 3 weeks. Good luck to you!

You are pretty safe right now. I never appllied EAD through my whole application and got I-485 approval in the 8th year of H1-B. The only thing you need to take care is applying the H1-B extension every year but let you have 6 month duration before it's expired. Good luck to you.

They don't care the I-94 from H1-B notice or original, but they prefer the recent original one when you enter.

Congrat! Wow! This is the fastest approval I have ever heard. I filed I-140 in March 2002 for the same category and got it in March 2005. This is really unbelieveable fast. I always told the ppl can not get aproval without FP. That proves I am wrong.

Try to make contact with your local congressman and make an inquiry to CIS . You can not get approval wothout valid FP. Or just walk into your local ASC office to do the FP. Someone in this forum said that worked for them. I remember they said Saturday is fine for the walk-in. Good luck to you all.

Just give you guy an update on our case. We went to Atlanta office for infopass with only one appointment. You don't need to wait until the schedule time, just walk in and show your infopass paper to the guard. For the best time to make an appointment with ATL office is in between 6-7 pm...

zhg67320 They don't issue the 2nd FP automatically. You need to call 1-800 number and make an inquiry or ask your local congressman or senator to help.

Try congressman help. I knew I asked for their help but did not know is that work or not. Try everything better than waiting.
