The time has come for me to move on with my life. I've been addicted to this forum for the past 3 years. I've learned a lot about the process of immigration through employment from this great place. You have gotten me through the tough times like when my I-140 got transferred from TSC to NSC, and when the I-485 processing dates just kept moving forward with no end in sight. The most stressful time was when my case got transferred to the Miami local office when it seemed like everyone else was getting approved, and you all helped me feel better.

I've learned more about the immigration process than I ever wanted to know. I've tried to share my knowledge with others as much as possible, sometimes even unintentionally providing misinformation only to be corrected by one of the gurus on the forum, and I was gratefully set back on the right track.

Its time to move on. I am no longer "curious" about getting a green card. I'll have to find another addiction.

Thank you all, especially Rajiv. And for all those who are still waiting, I wish you the best of luck with your case. If you are a newbie, or just a browser, my advice to you is that when you learn something from this forum, return at a later time to share it with others who may need your knowledge in their time of despair. That's how this forum stays such a great place, because of its generous members, so remember to give back what you get.

This forum is great, keep it going!

Curiously Yours,
curiousGeorge

Best luck to you in your future journey!

I'm still addicted in the forum, even after I'vr got my GC 5 months ago, haha! :)

Hi, Curious George

Thank you for helping us in the past few years. I learned a lot from you and just don't have chance to say thank you. We will miss you.

PS. I did not know you made cake also.

Congrats to still one more 2002 filer!
Don't mean to discourage you from overcoming your addiction, but there are threads in this forum that may be useful for the post-GC period :)

You are a 'one of a kind' wonderful contributor to this forum. Your advice to fellow members is truly practical and wise. Well, move on with your life with other pending things... in fact, you contributed 1,700 posts ...

I'll stick around for a while as I benefitted/addicted a lot from/to this forum...

It looks like your case got approved in SJ on 3/24, just a day after mine was approved. Has your online message changed? Have you got your plastic yet? I got approved on 3/23 but am still waiting for my plastic. My message changed to 'It is taking between 270 to 300 days blah blah blah...'

After 03/24 stamping, we both have LUDs on 485s on 04/04 and 04/05 (I guess, it's for paperwork from SJ recieved). My wife got plastic card on 04/18. However, I'm still waiting for mine and no LUD after 04/05 and no msg change.

good luck!!
