they usually only look at your passport and 485 receipt. but i'd bring all related documents: fp notice, 140 approval, etc.

the FBI website also suggests that if we contact congressmen or cenators it will only slow down the "whatever"-check progress. Whoes "integrity" needs to be "checked"?

I think they'll send you a fingerprint notice and after that is done, you should receive the card within two month. Once your case is back to VSC, it shouldn't take too long. Call VSC ask for a FP action. BTW, can you tell your country and your PD?
