lease job after GC approves Thanks Magician, My I485 is already approved, got my passport stemped, now I am waiting for my GC to arive in the mail. I was asking when is the safest to leave my current employer that sponsored my GC so I won't japerdize my GC.

Thank you USGC485, your information is helpful. Let's assume I leave my company within 6 months of the day of GC approval, get my GC in the mail in the mean time, get married with an US citizen, would I still have any problem's at the time of applying for citizenship? :)

Pibo, Contacting the congresman was the great experiance ever..... he sent me a letter at home within couple of days saying that someone in his office is looking into my case and then couple of days later they called me to say that my case was approved,,,, allthough the message on my case...

I have exactly the same message "pending review... bla bla bla" for a long time,,,,,, I mean after I went for FP on Dec 1, 2003. Than, my case date status changed in March 2004, but no aproval of my I485. My guess is that is OK,,,,, now we have to wait for I485 to get aproved...

My I-485 case number starts with EAC03008**** and was filled on September 25, 2002. Looking at http://immigrationwatch.com/ cases aproved recentry at Vermont SC all of the aproves cases start with EAC02**** does this '02 represent the year when was filled? I don't undestand why my case is '03...
