Well, what can I say. I have been reading all the "approved" messages around my ND and I was hoping I'd squeeze in the year-end "rush" of approvals. I usually avoid checking status on a daily basis, but ETA's message from yesterday gave me some hope by the way he found out he was approved, and...
Sinking in ..
The news is sinking in slowly ..
Yeppo, Haven't checked my mailbox for the last couple of days - will get back to you on that.
Manojvig, The date till the night before was unmoved and still at Sept 18, but I did keep going there and check the status each day without fail...
There's hope for all u Sept guys out there
Just saw that my I-140 is approved! HURRAY!
Concurrent filing .. EB3.
I-140 ND Sept 15, 2003. No FP yet.
It was getting a little bit frustrating, but you know for most of you guys out there, its just round the corner......so keep your fingers...
Or, they could be adjuducating the I-140's at a cursory level and issuing RFE's on the slightest of issues (the rate of RFE's and denial has gone up significantly over the past couple of weeks). That would mean the more straightforward cases would move up in the Q with a concurrent adjudication...
Any idea what's with the FP notices these days? A still pending I-140 (with an ND prior to the processing date) with a *completed* FP should be a prime "fast track" candidate.
To glxy
Glxy,
If things seem so obvious and your common-sense is enough to explain how law is supposed to work, what are you doing in this forum anyways? I sure hope its USCIS that has made you so cynical so you can get over it once your GC comes thru.
Or if you are here just to cause...
Cant run the scan
Am unable to run the scan myself. Did follow the instructions but the sheet comes out blank in the end.
Will someone be kind enough to run for ND 9/15/03 with a range from 53000 to 53999.
Thanks in advance.
Did you try calling them?
SafeNH, Have you tried giving them a call at the toll-free number to check your case status? Maybe that's more accurate than the website.
Remember, its the USCIS IT dept. you are talking about!! ;)
That's hilarious, Brigand!
That was rather funny, though I'm not sure that's how you felt being at the receiving end in what was a rather anti-climactic end to your call.
thanks douglas
Thanks for posting a lot of "information" and "interpretation". If the I-485 adjudication indeed comes through with the I-140, well, I'll probably go try my luck at a las vegas casino next!
Fingers crossed!
What about the increased fee
Brigand and others,
There has been this issue of increased fee for the new applications at the same time that the procedures are being changed. Can this imply that *ONLY* those concurrent applicants that apply after the new fee goes into affect will benefit from...
cool it guys!
Hey now .. I think each of you made your point. So, why fight?
I absolutely and completely agree with I140_2003's comments on this one. Not to sound insensitive to the likes of kumarsvalluri, the processing dates I feel do indicate the date for the majority of the...
for yeppo
Yeppo, similar case as mine.
ND: 9/15/03~EB2
No FP, I-140 & I-485 Pending for approval
My take based on the now famous Brigand Q theory (which is quite well explained!) is that we should find a place in the I-140/I-485 new Q.
As someone said in one of the notes above, this...
My friend has the following situation. Any inputs from you gurus can help!
He came to the US, first, on 3/28/1998. He has been on H1 since then. His latest H1 was due to expire on 12/17/2003. His employer applied for an extension of his H1 in October 2003. (VSC)
Due to huge back-log and...
Joyd, what happened? Why the sudden outburst?
Tried checking my case online. ND 09/15/03. Predicts the I-140 to be approved around October, unless I am LUCKY! Yeah, right!
Let's hope they just surprise us all by moving the processing data ahead by a month or more. Wishful thinking? I know.
