Jigesh:
I am only beginning to learn about these things but this is what I suggest.
Have an email sent (or have your lawyer - if representing you) and merely state the fact that you already submitted it.
Others - please comment as I know not much!
In concurrent filing cases, is everything (140, EAD, AP, 485) assigned to the same officer or different ones.
I am asking bacause I got an RFE issue on I-140 within days of EAD approval.
It's very confusing.
At his best, Aguirre is incompetent. He said lofty things like reducing the backlogs and waiting lines when he was swearing for the position. He also added extra spice to it saying he understood the pain as he himself came as an immigrant to this country. blah blah.
Thank you gingibi. The FP cleared and updated at CIS site way much faster than I ever imagined (updated in my signature below). Also, as you said: FBI cleared it the next day. It was electronic FP BTW.
It's about 110 days or so. No news on EAD yet
I called the CIS customer service and the lady just read the status from the internet. I asked if I could go for interim EAD if there was no hold on I140 or stuff like that. She said she can not see any more detail than what I can see...
Who signs 824 ? Employer ?
Please clarify this: does my employer need to sign 824 (I-140 petition is EB employer sponsored).
Can I or the lawyer just sign 824 without having the employer to sign ?
Thank you.
