At his best, Aguirre is incompetent. He said lofty things like reducing the backlogs and waiting lines when he was swearing for the position. He also added extra spice to it saying he understood the pain as he himself came as an immigrant to this country. blah blah.

Even a legal H1 worker does not have this privilege as per law. I am seeing cases being denied when a fresh H1 is filed for those who were laid-off/fired and were having an interregnum in their work history. What is the motivation for those to abide by the law?
Personally, this plan is an Icarian (see footnote) venture at its best and extravagant at its worst. Hope the Colonel-Blimps realize that.
Illegals have to be legalized. However, the current plan seems to be a paper-tiger and mocks law-abiding legals who are still in the queue without as many concessions as being envisaged for the illegals.

Hence, I chose this term for the current plan!
Of course its doable. Just stop processing all legal petitions: 485, 140, h1 etc etc. Anything for the illegals. Hurray !!!
