My spouse and I(Primary) e-filed AP on 6/18. I got the receipt in a week but we never received one for my wife. Is this pretty common. Any one had a similar experience... Its about 2 weeks now.

I would apply right away. E-file takes only 3 minutes to complete the application. I made a mistake of not applying until 6/16 when I am traveling on 10/1 :)

I checked on this with couple of my friends who had their F1 OPT. They also have 2 A#s. One set matches their F1 OPT and 140 where as their 485 and EAD has a second set. Looks like a trend

Thank you my EAD and 485 has the same A # where as my 140 and OPT (had F1 OPT few years ago) has the same one. Well looks like A# on 485 stands.

RealCanadian, Just to be sure, If I-485 is pending and H1 is valid, do you think there is a need to apply for AP? In my case, I have not applied for AP as my H1 is valid until 10/2009 and is stamped.
