Which A # to use for online AP

I was looking at filing AP online and noticed I have 2 different A#s (one on approved 140 and a second on my EAD) which one to use.

also for my wife since she has no 140, do I just use the A# on her EAD.

Your AP application is based on your pending I-485. Therefore you should use the A# that appears on your I-485 receipt notice.

Incidentally, the number on your I-485 receipt notice should be the same as the one on your approved I-140, but even if it isn't for whatever reason, use the A# on the I-485 receipt notice).

my EAD and 485 has the same A # where as my 140 and OPT (had F1 OPT few years ago) has the same one.

Well looks like A# on 485 stands.
