    you will be fine dude. At the time of naturalization processings, USCIS may request up to 5 years tax returns and/or W-2s, so, the conclusion is, if you apply for it 6 years after being on GC status, you are all fine and they don't case who you have been working for.

    I also heard some news from Attorney ... that there is a reform which is either california-wide or SF specific. By 9/28 this year, all backlogged cases have to be processed. But I don't have exact words on this. Wish the best luck for folks who are still hanging there.

    I also changed my job 8-9 months after filing I-485 under future employment. Both the attorney and I don't see a reason why we have to inform BCIS regarding this issue, probably we'll just need to let them know the situation at the time of on-site interview ?
