    What happens if one has a approved labor and then gets laid off? Can the approved labor certificate be used by another company, or the GC process starts all over again?

    Question. What happens if one is laid off (has about one year on H1 six year), but the company still continues to process the green card? Irrespective of the current status, the green card which is for a future job should still be fine right?

    Re: Urgent Luzarun, It can be due to variety of reasons. I know if lawyer/company recalls the application for company name change in case of takeovers etc., it shows the same status as you mentioned. Check with your lawyer.

    Finally got Certified on 6/16/03! All the best for the guys waiting. Updated the excel tracker. It was messed up again (formulas, color code etc.) Take care of my baby.

    Also I don't think it is a good idea to check the case numbers ahead or after your own. They recommend checking your status ONLY ONCE PER DAY (either by email/phone), if everybody checks 10-20 numbers before and after their own, you may be adversely affecting each other's cases. Something to...

    Updated the tracker with the info of the two new approvals that I had mentioned yesterday. Also fixed the tracker, it got messed up since I created originally.
