Since you need the AP urgently, approach the local INS with all necessary documents, especially document from the Hospital. They will prioritize your case since on the basis of emergency. Good luck

troy485 We got our passports stamped yesterday. It took only about an hour or so to come out of the INS office. We went there at around 1:30 and were out by 2:30 or so. Showed our approval letters and said them that we were here for pp stamping, the lady in the counter wrote down the time...

Muruga, I checked my online msg at around 11 am and found the case approved. The day before approval, I had checked online status till 5 p.m and it was not updated. Good Luck, you will get your approval pretty soon.

My passport will expire by Jan 2004, will i have any problem in GC stamping? Is it mandatory that the passport be valid for atleast one year. Please share your input Thanks
