Have to Apply for AP under Emergency

While applying for 485, I had H1 valid for 18 more months, so we did not apply for AP along with 485. As I am waiting........ for approval, I have an emergency, my mother is hospitalized and in ICU, I need to visit India. I have asked for a document from the hospital to be faxed so as I could attach it as an evidence with I-131 and for Emergency Travel.
My question is while applying for I-131, how should I mark/notify BCIS, that I need AP under urgency.
Please suggest.

Since you need the AP urgently, approach the local INS with all necessary documents, especially document from the Hospital. They will prioritize your case since on the basis of emergency. Good luck
