georgi, please relax, this is definetely a mistake from the part of the CSC. Have your lawyer send a fax inquiry and email inquiry to CSC clearly explaining the situation. You can do it yourself. if nothing happens after two weeks, keep doing it every two weeks until you receive an explanation...

It means you will be interview by that local office before your application could be approved. Trying contacting that office to find out how long it usually takes them to schedule an interview once they receive the applicant's file from the the CSC (California service center). Just be...
hassoon, Please consult an attorney before you talk to the company. When you contact the lawyer ask him some tough questions to make sure he knows what he's talking about. Some lawyers are very incompetent
good luck
Beverly, neeru is correct. don't step out of the US without a green card. If you do you'll be subject to the 10 year bar rule. BCIS shouldn't approved your AP application
My case was approved on June 24th and I've been instructed in the approval notice to go to the downtown LA BCIS office for the I-551 stamp. I don't want to go there because the lines are usually very long. I'm planning to go to the Santa Ana office and don't know if they will accept to process...
lindaMac, I made no mistake.

My lawyer had to send many fax inquiries to CSC for my receipt notice to arrive. I don't know what happened? I'm just happy It's over
My case was approved yesterday June 24th. What a journey

June2003, How long have you been visiting this forum? You're very naive to believe to what you were told. I went to Laguna Niguel twice about 8 months ago and was told the same stupid lies. My case is still pending. There's no point in going to Laguna Niguel or calling IIO's. If you're really...
inssucksforever, I think you were just unlucky. I know many people who have done what you did and got their cases approved without any hassle. I'm sure things like that happen to all the time. With BCIS is a matter of luck.
Just keep sending fax inquiries and calling them. wish you good luck
gc_cal, don't believe IIO for a minute. She has no clue of what's really happening in processing rooms. Don't bother calling them anymore, they will just keep giving you vague answers. if you're really worried about your case, send a fax inquiry to CSC. She has no way of knowing in advance if...
When should BCIS be notified about the change of employer? Should someone wait for BCIS to issue an RFE before notifying them? Thanks in advance for your inputs.
This is for a friend of mine
Kashmir, You are doing a fantastic job. I don't rely on CSC processing times anymore. I downloaded your program a couple weeks ago and I use it everytime I need to know if CSC is processing or not. You're great.
CanReply, there's no doubt in my mind that marriage GC which is to processed by your district BCIS office is faster than employment GC. Before going for it, do some research about processing times of the district office that will process your case.
good luck
cennai67, don't even bother to go to Laguna Niguel, I went there twice and found out that It was a waiste of time. if you're very worried about your case, just send a fax inquiry to CSC. For me that's the only realistic thing you can do
