Yes we got RFE in end of December '02. FP was in San Jose in Mar '02.

Our cases WAC 01-297-XXXXX was approved for me and my spouse. ND Sep 28 '01 AD May 8 '03 Both website and AVM says its updated. I cant believe it yet. Just saw it few minutes back. Just when we were worried about Intent to Deny on our renewal EAD, some relief in 485 case.

Both AVM and website are not updated, they have old message of "received application..".

Maybe then it isnt worth the early morn wait in the line. Once the reply reaches there I will try again. I wasnt sure they verify the status on their database before issuing iEAD.

Online message isnt updated. It still says they received our application.

We got an NOID for our EAD renewal (they want proof of pending 485). We had submitted it, but wonder why they didnt see it. Our lawyer thinks, we cannot collect our iEAD since its in this state. They are sending the required reply tomorrow. We need to collect iEAD. Is it possible? Also...

I tried for 15-20 min before I got the connection. And another 30 min to get hold of the IIO. So I think it requires only persistent dialing!! Each time I called they just gave a new date when the case was assigned to an officer. Some random number generation happening there.

We had similar situation & got RFE for same reason. We waited for RFE to inform INS. Used AC21, lawyer took care of everything. We are yet to get the approval. I have read more posts on this site, where people had similar RFE and got approved later. So hope that happens for our cases too...

For those who got their renewals recently: I would like to know answer to same question tx_beginner has asked about the renewed EAD date. Is it starting from approved date or date of expiry of previous card?

Just when we thought, we can see few approvals atleast once a week, they just broke that pattern. Last week went by with just 1 approval for NV2001. Anyone else heard of any other approval(s) last week?

I think there is someone with Aug '01 RD. Mine is 01-297 (Sep '01). After the last spree of approvals hopefully there arent too many WAC-01s left.

I saw that the RFE is common, but so far I havent seen anyone with AC-21 related cases, having got approval after RFE. The RFE was generated on 12/24.

Got an RFE for evl and last 3 year tax returns. Changed jobs after 180 days (after Company A layoff), working in Company B now. Do we need a letter from Company A (sponsoring company) too? Has anyone with similar RFE got approval using AC-21 rule?

Did you have to stop working between October and December? What does that mean if you are currently working, get out of the payroll and back after it gets approved? Our 485 is 01-297 group. Still waiting and EAD expires this week. It is still not past 90 days since we applied for it. Any help?
