Intent to Deny for EAD : can I collect iEAD

We got an NOID for our EAD renewal (they want proof of pending 485). We had submitted it, but wonder why they didnt see it.

Our lawyer thinks, we cannot collect our iEAD since its in this state. They are sending the required reply tomorrow. We need to collect iEAD. Is it possible?

Also when we go there do they check what status our application is in, before issuing an iEAD? I havent collected an iEAD till now since I wasnt working. Now I need it since I have an offer.

Will they ask questions on why I am collecting iEAD for the first time after 6 months of filing a renewal?
 
Maybe then it isnt worth the early morn wait in the line. Once the reply reaches there I will try again.

I wasnt sure they verify the status on their database before issuing iEAD.
 
Both AVM and website are not updated, they have old message of "received application..".
 
They will check the status before issuing iEAD and they will come to know that u are under RFE and they will refuse it.
You should go after they receive response of RFE.
