Ajay, I went through the same nonsense as you did. My attorney suggested that filing for a new LCA in RIR may probably move faster than waiting for the Non-RIR queue to move. Someone in this thread had posted progress for the Non-RIR dates. Please check it out. Hope this helps.

Check out www.immigration.ca. CIC Buffalo is indeed working. As of 9/15 they have issued IA for an application with an AOR of Feb 7, 2004.

Guys, No IA news from anyone since a long time. Looks like the CIC Buffalo folks have gone in the mode their US counterparts are in . Their website was last updated on 7/20. Any other way to find out whats going on at Buffalo?

I did the same as mentioned in your post. After waiting for 2 years my RIR application got remanded in July'03. My attorney suggested that I better re-file rather than trying to do something with the remanded case. Refiled again in 6/04. Not being a pessimist, but have no hope on this one...

It is the same old story. If we read it correctly it says that all cases that require MORE than a B.S will be considered where as cases with B.S + 0 years are going to stay with the EDD....

rambo_fire, It would be really helpful to know your DOT code. Just wondering if it is a one-off case that the DOL looked into not having the dreaded 151-031 or 151-032 DOT codes. There are tons of 151-031 and 151-032 cases that got remanded. Thanks!
