Hi sadsoul!
Yes, I remember you! I thought that you already got your decision long time ago!!! I'm sorry to hear that you still waiting!
Anyway, according to my lawyer, the backlog has reached the cases within our timeline (late 2012, beginning 2013)! So, have some hope buddy! Yet, you never...
Hello everyone at this great forum:
I just want to give you the hope with the news I got today. So basically after 1291 days of my case received at Chicago asylum office I got the approval finally today by mail!
I've never ever EVER thought I'll wait all this time! It was so long long loooong...
It's called letter of ineligibility
"If you are ineligible for a Social Security number, you must have a letter of ineligibility from the Social Security Administration attesting to that fact. Letters that are more than 30 days old will not be accepted. "
Well, thanks, I haven't sent it yet! Anyway, I will check with the Post Office and see! Yet, it's odd problem and we have been receiving mail to this address for more over 10 years! Even the USCIS has sent us a plenty of them on different cases and occasions and no one day they got confused with...
Thanks a lot buddy! The address is correct, I double checked it over Mapquest and Google and it doesn't have "two names". I have been living in this street for over than 10 years and I would know if it has another name!
Anyway, I'm gonna send back the reply to the USCIS with the same address...
I have always used my original residential address... I don't have any other one to use! The odd thing that they have sent to my address all the mails including the recent one! And now they are requesting the mailing address?!!!!
Well, sorry, apparently I didn't get you well in my answer. However, I have provided my house address as the mailing address for her applications. In other words, it's the house number, street name, city name, state & zip code. Is that all? Doesn't that count as a physical address?
It's the...
Hi,
We have filled for my mother I-485 and I-765 (Concurrent filling). However, we have got a "Request for Initial/Additional Evidence" to provide the physical address of the residence. But we stated clearly her address in the applications. So, what's exactly the Physical Address?
Thanks...
That's very odd! You will have to try to call them by phone! If that doesn't work, it will be a good idea to go there and talk to someone! Usually, the interview notice doesn't take that long!
What's your asylum office?
This is how it works! The USCIS have too much work to do! And they do a favor the asylum applicants by reviewing their cases before the court!
You are on Day 23!!! That's even nothing frankly!
Are you in status? If yes, so, it's gonna be a long waiting! If NOT, it's gonna shorter but you will wait too! BTW, 30 Days is nothing if you compared it with ppl waited 14 months or so!
Regarding the denial, it's still possible and depends on your case!
Syrian,
I'm sorry for your bad experience in your interview! It's kind of weird question, but sometimes it does matter! Was your officer an old man? or young?
