Okay, Thanks. I have given fingerprints. Does getting the EAD indicate anything (like GC will be approved) or can I still expect RFE/Denial?

I am currently on H1-B. The GC is through marriage to US citizen. I got 1-485 receipt but no approval. I have not had my interview by got the EAD without it 3 weeks back.

Anyone? Does getting an EAD mean no more RFE's???

Hi Guys, I sent me response to RFE to the address mentioned on the RFE through USPS. The online tracking status says it was not delivered and a notice was left. I have no clue what it means and how to track it. The package was sent to Lee's summit, MO 64002. Any similar experinces...

I agree...but what is the workaround now? My parents and relatives can provide an affidavit saying that it is the same person, since parents name on certificate and date of birth/place of birth is same as on passport? Can this be treated as name change? Any suggestions please. Thanks

The municipal corporatoin are not giving any letter since they are saying that they registered the birth correctly, with whatever information was given to them. How do I respond to the RFE now?

They gave my nickanme as my first name to complete the formality of birth certificate. Since they had not decided a name for me by that time. All other details like DOB/Parents name etc are correct and matches the passport. Later for schooling, I was registered with the name I use till today...

If you get an RFE and submit the requested documentaion, can they still reject the documents? What happens next? Do they deny the green card or they come back to applicant again asking for more proof? Any ideas?

This is for India. I checked and they are saying that it will take3-4 months to correct this. Everywhere else including passport is my correct current name with which I filed the application forms. Only on Birth certificate it was registered as different name and never got corrected...
