    What is going on?

I was approved way back, About 8 months ago and I have the plastic card already. I had a Jan ND date and one of my friends who has a June date has not yet been approved. Did BCIS slow down this much? Have they yet to improve the process? Does anyone know which month they are working on at...

    Farewell, my journey is over!

Hi everyone, Much to my surprise, I checked the BCIS web site and found that our cases had been approved on June 4th. Upon my arrival at home tonight I found the courtesy copies from BCIS telling me that I am approved and that I need to go and get my passport stamped. My case RD is Jan 4...

    Suddenly ... New members registering

Very interesting observation. I had made the same observation in recent months and had thought that users who had registered may have forgotten password, etc and changed email or did not actually register spouses, etc. Can anyone who has registered on Rupnet only when they got approved...

    Hope for a good week!

Hi Everyone, I hope we have a good week this week. VSC looks like it may start Dec cases this week and it would be good to see a few every day. VSC has started to gain some speed in the recent weeks so we just need it to continue. I know that we all try to measure the VSC performance...

    Some Movement on my case

Fantastic News It is great to see a case from 12/28 being looked at. And I think it is a good thing to have your case trsfrd. so it can be cleared quicker.... probably removes some of the case load from INS center. Can you tell me if this emp. based application..

OK...I was skeptical about NOV processing...but no more

I am not sure, but I think that they are looking to see if your salary is equal to or above what was filed. They want to make sure that you are not working for 20K and posting a position that is much higher. It make sense to look at salary and yes you are correct that it is hard to maintain...

    Looking good at VSC

Well based on last week it looks like VSC is really moving on that backlog. Also I one post is talking about a Feb 02 case. If all the postings are accurate and if you consider that a very small percentage of applicants actually visit this site and post messages then VSC is really approving...

    Interesting !!! But true

This is a stupid post…… Most of the people here are fighting to be legal and be able to live in the USA. Just like many immigrants before them who have built this country. As I have stated before, we are all working within the law to remain in this country and continue to pay taxes, etc...

    Wrong again...

I now know I was wrong in thinking that INS would start to clean up the backlog... I really thought we would see a flood of approvals until they caught up. I hate to say this, but I think that this process will stay slow for sometime. Question to everyone: Do you think we may see...

    People with RFE, please read

It makes sense. But it sounded like you are more likely to get an RFE if you did not supply any pay stubs or company letter, etc. I was surprised to see a post today from someone with no RFE and just wanted to see if I can understand why he did not get one. I just want this process to be...

    People with RFE, please read

I am trying to understand why INS is sending out the RFE to some and not others. It sounds like many people who have gotten them have needed to send pay stubs and letters of employment. For those people that have received and RFE, did you supply the material requested in your original...

INS looks like it is moving...

I agree that many cases exist... Many old cases like the ones in Aug. INS must have a system to decide which cases should be processed because they are also approving oct, nov cases. I am not sure why they do this, but in the past they have always approved cases ahead of the date posted...

INS looks like it is moving...

based on the amount of approvals today, and the fact that this may represent only a fraction of the total applications/approvals, INS looks like it is starting to move. It may also make sense to approve people already in the country so that the INS/DHS can make sure that everyone is here...

    RD Oct-09 485 Approved

If this is board is any indication of progress then we should start to see many more approvals now. I think INS may finally be up to speed soon and will start to approve into Jan before end of Feb. IMHO

    EAD Approved.....I am going crazy!!!

Party on GC! I will have a huge party when the my I485 gets approved. I asked my lawyer (via email) about the INS problem on Friday and she replied to me. She said that I should not expect anything until 2 - 3 months from now (Basically March). She also noted that INS was working on...
