Hi gatorchess, I think it's the date on your I-20 since that's the document that defines your status.

Hey lankaputra, As long as your I-20 is valid you should be fine since you would still be "In-Status" even though your visa is expired. You only need a valid visa to enter the country. My F-1 visa expires next year as well.

Yes there is a form... at least I had one in the NL packet. It was with the instructions and had the heading "Adjustment of Status Fee Payment".

travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/bulletin/bulletin_1360.html Also, point to note - The numbers listed now are for DV2009. DV2010 cases become current from October 1st 2009. However, advanced notification of current CNs for DV2010 should be available in the bulletin in September 2009.

F1/f2 aos Thanks BlueT41 for setting up this thread. Just thought I'd log my AOS journey as well. My case will be a F1/F2 AOS situation and looking at past visa bulletins my case number will be current around March/April in 2010. It's a bit of a wait but will keep the forum updated if issues...
