    AVM or courtesy letter In my case, it is neither. My attorney received the approval notice for 485 in the mail yesterday (my case was approved 30 July). It is not yet updated in the AVM, nor have I received a courtesy copy.

    FP date They Just gave me May 1, 01 as FP date. I guess, while some applicants are FPed intially (within a few months of applying), others are FPed after the applications are processed. No, I did not call INS at all.
